Meet The Creator

Welcome to Fruitful Seeds, where we turn mealtime into playtime and picky eating into a palette of possibilities. I’m Nanny Lauren, and I am passionate about helping children and families build healthy relationships with food, wellness, and learning from the roots up.

With over a decade of experience in private childcare, I bring together my background in Holistic Nutrition, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, GAPS Coaching, and Herbal Medicine to create supportive and engaging wellness experiences for children and families. I also hold a Master’s degree in Herbal Medicine and am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Integrative Health with a focus in Functional Nutrition at the American College of Healthcare Sciences. My goal is to continue expanding my knowledge so I can better support families through education, prevention, and whole body wellness.

At Fruitful Seeds, we believe in “prevention through education and action.” We view food as more than nourishment. It is an opportunity for creativity, exploration, connection, and growth. Through hands on learning experiences, children are encouraged to explore colors, textures, smells, tastes, and movement in ways that support sensory development, motor skills, confidence, autonomy, and curiosity.

We encourage little hands to get messy because we understand that playing with food is not only fun, but also an important part of childhood learning and development. Our approach combines family, nourishment, education, and play to help children develop a positive and lasting relationship with food. From sensory activities and kitchen experiences to seasonal food exploration, every interaction is designed to plant seeds that can continue growing for a lifetime.

As a practitioner with Tiny Health, I am especially passionate about supporting families navigating concerns such as picky eating, constipation, bloating, eczema, digestive discomfort, food sensitivities, and other challenges that may be connected to the gut microbiome. Tiny Health provides advanced gut testing that helps families better understand the balance of beneficial and disruptive bacteria in the body, as well as how gut health may influence digestion, immune function, skin health, sleep, mood, behavior, and overall wellness.

I am deeply passionate about helping parents better understand the connection between nourishment, gut health, and childhood development while creating realistic and supportive wellness strategies that can be incorporated into everyday family life.

Rooted in a love for gut health and natural living, Fruitful Seeds also stands firmly in sustainability and environmentally conscious practices. We value whole foods, outdoor exploration, natural living, and chemical free wellness whenever possible. As someone who loves sunshine, nature, and hands on learning, I enjoy bringing elements of the outdoors into educational experiences that help children build meaningful connections with food, nature, and their own bodies.

Join us at Fruitful Seeds, where we plant the seeds of well being, nurture curiosity, celebrate growth, and help children blossom into confident, vibrant, and healthy eaters one bite at a time.
